Guest statistics

The guest statistics page (StatisticsGuests) measures your loyalty: how many new guests over the period, how many come back and who your top guests are.

The period and comparison sit at the top, as on the other pages — see Choosing the period and comparing. These figures rest on your guest profiles.

The Guests statistics page: the metrics (new guests, returning guests, return rate, email and SMS opt-ins), the weekly new-versus-returning chart, and the top-guests table (visits, covers, no-shows, last visit). The Guests statistics page: the metrics (new guests, returning guests, return rate, email and SMS opt-ins), the weekly new-versus-returning chart, and the top-guests table (visits, covers, no-shows, last visit).
  • New guests — guests whose first recorded visit falls within the period.
  • Returning guests — guests who already had a visit before the period.
  • Return rate — the share of visits from guests you already know. Hidden below five visits (see Hidden values).
  • Email opt-ins and SMS opt-ins — the number of guests who accept your marketing messages. Both figures cover your current base, not just the period.

The New vs. returning chart stacks, week by week, visits from new guests and visits from returning guests. It shows where your footfall comes from over time.

The Top guests table ranks your guests by number of visits, with their covers, their no-shows and their last visit. Clicking a row opens the guest’s profile. Visits with no guest profile — walk-ins, and so on — are not ranked here.
