Your website's languages
Your website is offered in the same languages as your booking widget: your guest languages. They are set in the general settings, see Your guest content languages.
SettingsGeneralYour website text is written in the main language. While the site exists, that language is locked in the general settings.
The Site languages card
Section titled “The Site languages card”On the website screen, the Site languages card lists each language with how much of the site is already translated and the translations in progress.
SettingsWebsiteThe website’s text is translated automatically. If automatic translation is off, it stays in the main language, except what you translate yourself. When the translation limit is reached, the card gives the date it resumes; until then, the site shows the text in the main language.
Correcting a translation
Section titled “Correcting a translation”A field shown on the website carries the Translations button as soon as the site has another language and the text is saved. It opens the source text, read-only, then each language with its state:
- Translated automatically, with the translation date;
- Translating…;
- Your version — a translation you have edited;
- not translated yet, or translation paused — the site then shows the main text.
Editing a translation keeps your version: it will no longer be translated automatically. If the source text changes afterwards, the language says so and offers Retranslate or Keep your version. Retranslate all replaces all your versions with an automatic translation, after confirmation.
Save the source text before opening its translations: until it is saved, they are of the previous text.
