Photos

Your website’s photos are sorted into albums. Each album is a section of the website’s Photos page (“The dining room”, “The dishes”…).

SettingsWebsitePhotos

The New album button creates an album. The tabs at the top of the screen show All the photos or those of one album, with their count. Drag an album to change the order of the Photos page’s sections, then save.

An album’s menu offers Rename and Delete the album. Deleting an album removes its photos from the website’s Photos page.

An album’s Add button opens the upload page. Drop your photos in the zone or pick them with Browse: JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. Photos picked together reach the album in the order picked.

Each photo shows its progress until Added. Do not close the tab before the end: a photo not yet added is lost if you leave the page. A refused photo says why, for example an image over 25 megapixels.

A site holds 300 photos at most. PDFs are not added here but in Menus.

Clicking a photo opens its page:

  • Alt text — describes the photo for visually impaired people. The screen flags the photos where it is missing.
  • Album — moves the photo to another album.
  • Move to the front, Move up and Move down — set its position in the album, applied on save.
  • Delete — removes the photo from its album and from the website’s Photos page. The images of your pages are not affected.

The website’s cover photo is chosen in Home page.
